S2U2 Lagging

Hi, has anyone else notice when you turn on your TP S2U2 somesitmes takes a while to register your finger's movement....Plus I can see it kinda frozen when I turn on my phone and in a matter of a couple seconds it would flicker and then I could slide my finger on it to unlock. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix or setting for fixing this?

Thanks

Make sure that in the settings of S2U2 it is set to Raw Buffer for the Display Mode under Advanced (at the bottom). Also under Advanced you will see a setting for Delay on Wake, which defaults to 500 ms. Change that to 200 and it will respond faster upon wake.

Well, its back and at Random times, I have changed all settings to see if any of the settings are causing this issue. I have noticed that sometimes my top task bar shows up when I turn on my phone and S2U2 is up, then it will disappear and then I can unlock my phone. I do have custom icons on my task bar

Which version of S2U2 are you running? The latest is 1.45 and can be downloaded from AC's site here:

Hey there,

Depending on which ROM you're running and if that ROM is using different D3D Drivers, it's not necessary to use Raw Buffer instead of Direct Draw. In fact, Direct Draw has been performing very well since s2u2 1.35 or so.

The best advice would be to try both settings, and see which one performs the best for your particular setup. Don't use GDI however, try to only use Direct Draw or Raw Buffer.

I've been using Direct Draw on Dream's ROM for months now and it's smooth as silk.
