Changing Taskbar & Bottom Bar to Black?

Is it possible to get my top and bottom bar to be a solid black, like this:

I tried UI Tweaker but didn't get any luck. No matter what I try, it seems like those two bars remain that gray/dark bevel shade and it's getting annoying because EVERYTHING else is a very clean black. If I could the taskbars to match it'd be 101% perfect. I've searched but didn't come up with too much help. Any ideas?

(the ironic part is that all the stock Touch Pro pics on Google Images show black task & bottom bars...)

Well the interesting thing is I tried an 'HTC Black' skin not too long ago but it didn't have a black clock and the background made it impossible to see the list of programs in the 'All Programs' flick menu. So now I've got everything set the way I like it with the only exception being the taskbars.

The one thing that's different in this case is that this file's called "Black BAR" and is too small to be a skin CAB... is that just a taskbar customizaion?

did you do start, settings, today, htc black? thats what i use. try the cab, if it dont work just uninstall.heres another one with pictures. http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...d.php?t=171255 any good?

I use wisbar advance 3 for that. you can change the appearance of almost anything with that program

I believe black is 0 0 0 and white is 255 255 255

There is a link there showing the various RGB and hex values for other colors.

Here are the top and bottom windows bars I have. I've attached the .tsk file if you want it. Extract it, and put it in the \Windows directory, and change it in today settings. This is just for the top and bottom black bars.

So ALL that does is change the taskbars, right? I see something called 'Vodaphone' and I think it's going to change the entire skin. Is this *JUST* for the taskbars?

^^^I actually like that type of black a little better than solid black, because it'd mesh entirely with the TF3D slider colors. So I downloaded WisBar 3 and installed it, but it says

"In order to run WisBar 3, you must disable the HTC Task Manager"

How do I do that?
