well i just got off the phone with Asurion and the lady I spoke with said this was the third call she took today about the usb ports. Oh well, another will be here tomorrow, brand new since thats all they have. At least I'll have extra accessories now. Time to open the headphone jack and snip the little blue wire.

Skelator, I'll try that. The odd thing is that it had worked in the past and it works on other computers at work (same network and settings). I'll let you know if your idea works...

Mines does that too, but it is some error code 10 on thee pc. I normally have to go to device manager and disable it through right-click and then enable it and it pops right back up.
