no, i want to delete the program sms chat. how do i do this?

As in the threading or the full messaging app? You can't delete the application without removing it from the ROM. Now if you just want it to stop threading you can turn that off! Settings > System Tab > Text Messaging > Change from threaded to classic.

I think he's talking about VITO SMS Chat, the program. If you are Mike: go to Settings > System Tab> Remove Programs. You should be able to remove the program from that list there. Just highlight it and tap "Remove"
