smilies emotions during texting

so i got this new htc pro from sprint and don't see any emotions that i can use during texting. where can i get this?

No , It works with windows sms.

so i downloaded it but it's a pain in the but to have to go to programs all the time to select sms chat.

any advice?

also, just noticed that now when someone texts me. it doesn't give me a sound notification.
