Live Search Traffic with gps enabled too small to see

I just upgraded from an HTC 6800 Mogul to the HTC Touch Pro with true vga resolution and I have been using Live Search traffic with gps tracking extensively on the Mogul. On the Pro however the resolution at the maximum zoom level that allows the traffic color bars to show traffic levels it is so small I have a difficult time figuring out where I'm looking. The street numbering is way too small to read while mounted in my bracket while driving.
Has anyone figured out a way to change resolution for this function to enlarge the view and still have the traffic volume color bars showing?
Thanks in advance
John

Re: Live Search Traffic with gps enabled too small to see

I am having the same problem - except what's weird is when I zoom in - the zoom level will actually get to a good level that I can see the streets - but it will only stay like that for a second or so - then it goes back to the zoom level that shows me the whole city instead of the section of town I am in. That is much too small for me to see.

Did you try, once you are at the zoom level you like, to then use the menu to set the zoom?

What version are you using? I'm using v3.0.30477.24749 and I can see traffic perfectly, even zoomed at city level. I'll agree that it's not as clear as the mogul, but it's because I don't believe this is a truly VGA version.

Re: Live Search Traffic with gps enabled too small to see

Woo hoo! I love this cutting edge stuff! I just now started up Live Search Traffic and a new update was available. Loaded it and it fixed the problem. The guys at MS must have been working late to fix it and now it works great!

Re: Live Search Traffic with gps enabled too small to see

i was meaning to post this, but, yeah, the latest version of Live Search maps is -much- improved.
however, the traffic info seems to be getting continually less reliable
