I can tell you that after trying all the different options, Coreplayer gives the best video playback.

by better playback, do you mean less choppy? Even better than TCPMP? I remember I used the trial to Coreplayer once, but I found it too frilled out for my needs... If performance is significantly better I might take a look at it again.

Yes. I watch a ton of movies in my TP. I have TCMP, Pocket Player, KinomaPlay & CorePlayer. Al I ever use now for movies is CorePlayer & I think it is an awesome program.
