Additional Today screen program - Help me find it ? (not second today)
Hey guys,
I remember awhile back reading about a new program that acted like second today, except it didn't unload TF3d, always ran in the background on startup, and opened via finger swipes like the cube. It was only released at first as part of a I believe spanish rom, but then the developer released a stand alone version. Anyone remember the name or can point me to a cab ? I can't find anything via searching the forums or google. I can't remember the name, and searching "second today" only brings up the SecondToday plugin. Thanks for any help! |

I have that cab here somewhere, if someone else doesn't post it first I will dig it up.
I did not like that program at all & quickly reverted back to 2nd today which I love, but some people do go the other route for some reason. ~John |

+1 for 2nd today...if you're mainly looking for a way to launch it with a gesture, the following link will take you to a tutorial to launch it from a soft key.
http://jiehong.org/blog/2008/10/19/s...-on-touch-pro/ Just install 2nd today and place a shortcut or copy of it in your Windows startup folder. It will launch when windows starts and run along with TF3D. The TP has plenty of memory to run both. I have 2nd today installed this way and am running only weather panel on it. A single touch of my left soft key takes me to 2nd today very quickly. Once in 2nd today, another remapped left soft key takes me right back to TF3D. And, because 2nd today has been running in the background, any apps that need to update on a set schedule will have current data. |
