whats wrong with my phone - nooooooo

i was playing with my t9 and then decided against it. i got it to stop BUT now i get this bar at the bottom pop open while i type. it opens up for each new word and has a plus sign all the way to the right.

i click the plus sign andit gives me the option add new word with a check or an x.

how do i get rid of this?

hmm thats weird, are you sure you switched off the T9 in the on-screen keyboard? It's the switch that says ABC T9.

Same thing happened to me and took me a little while to realize that my onscreen keyboard had switched to T9.

Try going into the Touch Input Settings by clicking slightly to the right of the keyboard popup icon. Make sure Word Completion is not checked. Also I like to use Full QWERTY keyboard, so the ABC T9 button is to the left of the space bar for me.
