TP - can't get ##000000 to work?

Alltel Touch Pro. Orig ROM. Immediate
ly after cold reset (and carrier config)
I can enter it to open programming mode and get the correct screen. after restoring
my backup it again actually tries to dial the code number and carrier
reports no such number. Since it works fine after a cold reset I figure the
problem is some incorrect registry setting or application.

I'm not using the TF3D interface. I use SPB's P+ / MS / Backup / Diary / PS,
Resco KB / File Mgr, SecondToday, FTouchSL, AE ButtonPlus, GScroll,
MortScript, SmartMort, MortButtons, Audio Fix Lite, .NETCF3.5, Gyrator2,
SD Tuneup, Performance boost, Enable WLAN Gmode, and some other
registry edit cabs.

I was hoping someone could suggest what might interfere with WM Dialer &
connecting to the firmware config screens.

Thanks

Did you try to do a hard reset?

go to your settings, system and go to clear storage its the easiest way to do the hard reset. This should clear up your issue make sure you backup your contacts first. If you dont know how let me know I can get you a link to a backup app

Im confused on what exactly you are trying to do in the first place? BTW, its not a cold reset you are doing but its called a hard reset. A hard reset, resets everything back to factory settings like right out of the box whereas a soft reset simply just reboots the device.

If you need to edit the setting go to file explorer, then go to the windows folder, find the program called EPST and run it. This should have everything you could ever possibly want to change by using ##000000. You can also update your prl by this method with out having to dial ##775. Hope this helps.
