how do i get the camera flash to work?
 

i take pictures and i never see the flash turn on. how do i get the flashto turn on when i take pictures.????

it's not a regular flash like on a real camera. it's more of a flashlight or spotlight. you have to manually turn it on before taking a picture and manually turn it off.

with the cam on, hit the screen so that a menu pops up, hit the settings icon/ flash(flash icon).....that turns it on

Or use TorchButton and AE button to make a command to turn the light on, its good as a flash and a flashlight this way... Woot!

It would be cool if we could get it to turn on whenever we go into the camera app or get it to actually act like a real camera.

I have not messed with my flash on mine yet, so excuse the ignorance if this option exists already. But why not have the flash "auto" detect the light settings. LoL I mean every other phone has that option, why cant a WM device do that?? ;)

Who really cares, these cameras are so cr@ppy they are more of a last resort type of thing than something you use on a regular basis anyway.

I get good shots on mine...maybe you forget this is a phone first.
