Live Search by Microsoft and Spring Nav the way to go for Sprint users?

I just flashed a cooked ROM (MERDIN'S) on my Sprint Touch pro and love it but it took away Sprint Nav and Live Search by Microsoft ( I think that what its called when you use speech to search for a location and it uses the the nav to direct you there). i found the .cab for the Sprint NAV but cant find the live search .cab anyone know where this is?

Also is this the best way to go to for Sprint users? Or is there a 3rd party software that does the NAV and search better? I want to be able to find lovcations with out entering it manualy and get Traffic updates.

Thanks for any Help.

Live Search you can get by going to m.live.com I believe on your phone. Make sure you get Live Search and not Windows Live; those are 2 different things.

I use Live Search and it does a great job. I also don't have Sprint Nav included in my plan, but I don't see the need when I have Live Search.

Re: Live Search by Microsoft and Spring Nav the way to go for Sprint users?

Thanks you guys are great, but if Im not mistaken doesn't the Live Search launch sprint Nav when a detonation is selected and you want to be routed to it on the stock ROM from Sprint? Is their something I need to set up in Live Search?

Live search has it's own navigation portion, if I could get it to launch another application that would be great.

Re: Live Search by Microsoft and Spring Nav the way to go for Sprint users?

It does not launch Sprint Nav. Live Search is a seperate app.

Live Search won't give you turn by turn out loud like Sprint Nav will, and personally I like Sprint Nav a lot better, but Live Search is a nice free alternative (Google Maps is pretty alright too)

Re: Live Search by Microsoft and Spring Nav the way to go for Sprint users?

Its just odd that on the Instinct it launches the Sprint Nav if after you speak your desired location. But not on the HTC Pro.
