video optimization tweaks?

it's pretty frustrating trying to watch a video on the TP when it seems to buffer and pause a lot. I'm on my home network trying to stream a movie from my wireless G router (I have the tweak to enable Wifi G on the phone), and the video is lousy. What can I do to ensure smooth and proper playback? Any tips/tweaks, etc..? I'm using Coreplayer.

Okay, I read and re-read, and it seems like it is for youtube, although it says hi def video (which I guess is what I want), and it's another version of TCPMP. Isn't there just a setting (or an easier way) to make the video playback better on CorePlayer? I appreciate the link, but it looks like a good few hours of work to read and understand that post, which after 2 years of being on the forums and reading A LOT, I'm kinda tired of it. As patient and understanding as I was with the 6700, 6800, and now the 6850, whew, sometimes you just want it to work right, ya know?

Re: video optimization tweaks?

I agree with you 100%, however, this is by far the best TCMP ver I have come across! I suppose you could wait a few more days as a simpler and slightly better version is coming, follow that thread!
