Volume buttons: Adjust which to change?

When pressing volume up or down buttons on the side of the TP, the default action is to open the volume page with the two tabs (one for system and one for ringer) and it automatically goes to the ringer and adjusts it up or down (depending on if you pressed the volume up or down buttons).

Is there any way to make it default to the system volume tab instead of the ringer tab?

I would like to know this as well. I didn't have this issue til I installed the Juggalo ROM.

Re: Volume buttons: Adjust which to change?

Just loaded up a stock Sprint ROM and the default on that ROM is the system tab. When on Juggalo's ROM it defaults to the ring tab. Weird...

Re: Volume buttons: Adjust which to change?

yea that didn't work... I didn't even have the key there. Putting it there had no effect.

Re: Volume buttons: Adjust which to change?

Got it! This is what you do:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\VolumeOverlay]
"DefaultPage"=dword:00000001 --> dword:00000000

He had an error in his post on where the key was located.
