Re: state caller id??

My Alltel TP does display City & State with either incoming or outgoing calls. Even calls in my contact list. Not sure what could be different...

Re: state caller id??

one problem if u run the stock dialer is you loose the ability to change the volume.

one good thing about running stock dialer is you get super fast ringing.

Re: state caller id??

Ok... I was fooling around and found an app called City ID in my Programs list. Apparently I have a trial that is going to expire in 6 days. We will see if stops displaying the city & state in a week or so...

I have had the phone for like 3 weeks now, and the trial appears to be a 2 week trial. So I wonder if a hard reset reactivates the trial?

I mean as far as displaying the city & state of unknown numbers it's nice. Haven't had this since I had a basic flip phone many years ago... When a call comes in under the number it displays the city and state, even if its a known contact. Doesn't do it for 800 numbers, but I don't think those are state specific?
