Simple question about waking up phone?

Whenever I use my phone, I always have to press the power button to wake up the phone. Is there a way i can wake up the phone without pressing the power button?

Huh? just out of curiousity what wrong with pressing the power button? Thats why its there. Ummm just leave the phone on, or you can pull the stylus out to wake it too.

Re: Simple question about waking up phone?

You can also just slide the keyboard out to wake the phone. Its pretty common to use the power button tho IMO.

Taking out the stylus works too! It was one of those "ooo-ahh" features when the Touch Pro was first introduced.

Re: Simple question about waking up phone?

Coming from a regular phone to a PPC most people aren't used to the power button off/on feature. Just get used to it.

Re: Simple question about waking up phone?

I agree with the "get use to it" comment. I like the idea of having to press the power button to wake the phone as I always have the phone in my back pocket and don't want to accidentally be calling people or launching applications - wears down the battery.

Re: Simple question about waking up phone?

Bluetooth hands free works too. You can then press your ear to wake your phone up.
