Re: Touch Pro In Car
it should work with windows media player. do you have a aux port on your radio as well? if so, use that and you'll be cooking with oil.

Re: Touch Pro In Car
Did you make sure to have the phone connect as a usb mass storage device?

Re: Touch Pro In Car
+1 on setting as mass storage.
Also possible that your head unit w/usb is only set up to read particular sources, like jumpdrives. I use an aux input and it works great with music, video (audio of video, no screens), gps, etc. |
Re: Touch Pro In Car
You could consider installing bluetooth. I use xCarlink and it works great! Stream A2DP, has a SD cardslot and calls come over my car speaker.

Re: Touch Pro In Car
Use the audio attachement that your TP came with (the one with slots for 2.5mm, 3.5mm and usb) and a male to male 3.5mm audio cable. They sell the cables at best buy in various lengths and various quality.

Re: Touch Pro In Car
I have a Kenwood DNX-5120 in the Mustang and it works perfectly, charges my phone, and let's me browse all the folders for MP3's etc (I have a 8GB C6). However in my wifes Explorer, I put one of those cheap $90 Target CD Players in there that has USB/SD Support, and it will only read up to 2GB, try putting a smaller (1/2GB) Micro-SD Card in your TP and see if that works.
