I tried this, but it only goes into one side of the car. It's like really low too. I know somethings not wrong with my speakers cuz my ipod works great in my car.

My cable does this sometimes as well, especially if you've had it plugged in for a long time. Wiggle it around, it just need to contact al 3 sections on the cable. Clean it every now and then with an eraser to help the connection as well.
