OK Button missing

My OK button is missing. Should I send my new touch pro back since it seems to be missing the OK button which is so vital to using wm6

On a more serious note, why didnt HTC add an OK button to this phone. Moreover how do you guys make it without the OK button.

I have been using windows mobile since the apache first came out, then the mogul, and I now have a touch pro. I am okay with them removing the email and IE button, but come on, the OK button is so essential for closing windows and basic navigation. I am sick and tired of trying to mash the ok button at the upper corner with my fat fingers.

Could someone please explain to me what HTC's brilliant solution for replacing the OK button. And please dont tell me to use the ENTER button (Center click on wheel). That is not always the OK button.

Thanks in advance!

i use aebplus to remap the buttons,
single click the middle to 'enter'
double click the middle button to 'close'

Nope that is the back button and in my opinion the most pointless button on the phone, it will not close the application it will just minimize it.

No phone closed any program with a hard key like the "ok" (your back) button without a special app installed. Even on my mogul the OK button would only minimize programs. Your proof that it is an ok button is that when you get a screen that says ok in the top right instead of an x, hit that button and tel me what it does.

Re: OK Button missing

^^Wow you got overly butthurt by that comment, I could've sworn my old apache would close programs when I hit the ok button but maybe I had it set up in some fashion other than stock i don't remember since its been so long since I've used it.

True, but if you edit your device so that the "X" truly does close a program, then an "OK" button would have the same behavior. Is this the case with the Touch Pro's "Back" Button as well?
