One more thing is: How do you set the Backlight to be on while on a call?

Re: Screen lock to prevent accidental dialing?

One way that will fix all your problems is to use PocketShield to lock your phone but it's not free.

PS locks the phone, gives a super slide to answer/ignore screen & allows you to switch from the HTC dialer to a black skinned version of the WinMo dialer. That dialer will stay lit during a call & ring two rings faster on an incominng call.

Re: Screen lock to prevent accidental dialing?

i Personally like the SunScape unlock its diffrent and the newer versions are highly costumizable because its open source. And its free.

you can see what it looks like here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416843

Re: Screen lock to prevent accidental dialing?

Thanks for the replies John and MoonZ...I think I took care of the locking scenario by setting the Hard End Button Press to lock the device...Right now I just need a way to keep the backlight ON while on a call....

Re: Screen lock to prevent accidental dialing?

I think is you go to setting>>>system>>>backlight>>> and disable the box "Turn off back light if device is not used for (# minutes)" your backlight will continue to be on until you manually turn it off.
