Touch hd hotfix for pro/others

I'm still a bit of a newbie... I don't have problems with my TP but I'm always looking to speed it up, etc. What exactly does this hotfix for the HD do for you?

alright sometimes when you are pressing the screen repeatedly or fast the screen will freeze for about 3-5 seconds. This fix is to eliminate the freezing.

The time this might occur is while playing a game, text messaging, emailing, etc.

Hmmm, I installed this and then soft reset and now the OS won't boot. I dont even get my splash screens. Guess its time for a hard reset

It ended up crashing my device as well. Had to hard reset. Im on a Diamond though.

I installed and just soft reset and it's confirmed... OS won't boot. Dang it, I didn't back up...lol
Oh well, time for Another hard reset....

Wish I could take my thanks back...lmao j/k

I meant I soft reset after the install and yep it crashed... won't boot like i said

Maybe the Hotfix doesnt only create the cab file. Maybe it changes some registry values, then creates the cab. Creedin, can you post the hotfix you installed, not just the cab? Or atleast the link?

Edit: Never mind, I found the link and it says its for Touch HD with a ROM version less than 1.19.xxx.x.

Creedin, are you running the stock rom? If so, which rom are you running?

Mine didn't create any cab in root directory. I just installed it said it was fine.. It was all fine until I soft reset. Kind of had the tought of backing everything up before soft reseting, but decided to forget about it... Grrrr
