display problems....

i was wondering if anyone else has been having problems with their display? when i slide it open, every once in a while, the screen will get jarbbled for a sec or two.. like a tv with REALLY bad reception..
(i have an LG rumor that did this, and it ended up being a problem with the ribbon that connected to the screen, they said there wasn't enough padding in there and it was cutting into it)
but i just got the phone almost 2 weeks ago..
twice i had to do a soft reset because it was stuck like that (opened or closed mode, power button tested too and it didn't help).
and once it lost blue color and everything was a funky pink, again, soft reset and it fixed it...
i can't recall it happening with the stock rom. but then again, i only had it on there for about a week. lol.
right now i have the "Juggalo TP ROM V0.08B " (for the record, i don't think it's the rom.. )
i'm going to load another rom. and later the stock, just to double check.

anywho, back to my question, anyone else having this problem?

thanks,
ulysses

Re: display problems....

yeah, i'm downloading the stock rom right now, lol... hopefully the flashing and locking goes well, haven't done that before, and wasn't hoping to need it.

thanks

Why does it have to be a hardware problem? There are plenty of software problems in the stock rom, why is this automatically not one?

Re: display problems....

i tried 3 different roms, and it just got worse.. then flashed sprint rom and it's not as bad,or maybe i'm just handling it "lighter" ? (it's still doing it though)..

Re: display problems....

Haven't noticed anything with Mighty's rom. Are you using TF3D Landscape or not?

i haven't messed with any TF3D settings. but so far, i've tried the following roms in this order,
juggalo, mighty's, ivan's, and now back on the stock sprint..
i first notice the prob a few days ago... and as of last night, it has just been getting worse and worse.. :-\ i think it's prolly the ribbon...

Same here. I had something like that happen a couple times with the stock ROM. I have never seen it with Mighty's or Juicy's ROMs.
