Can you use your own ringtone for a text mssg notification?

I know how to put ringtones on the phone by going into windows>rings.

But how do you get into the text message tones to use what you want?

You have to place the ringtones in the actual windows folder, not the ringtones folder, and then it will work.

also try this

you can use mp3 files, just place them in the following and not in your SD card:

File Explorer>Application Data>Sounds

and then go back to notifications and you should see the files in the drop down menu.
Hit Thanks if it works
