Opera to Internet Explorer Default?
 

Can someone post a link to a thread that discusses how to make everything that loads Opera by default (on a stock Sprint TP) use Internet Explorer instead?

Internet Explorer runs so much smoother but for example when I click links in text messages, or emails, or just click "Launch Browser" from TF3D --- it's always Opera Browser. I want everything to link to IE and let Opera be the back up.


Is this possible?

try dakness cab which will make ie ur main browser

The cab will change most of the file associations, but not in TF3D. There was a way to do it on the Titan when using the stock PIE. I guess the same thing would apply if you are using a stock ROM. I would back up your phone before doing it though, because it involves overwriting some files.

Is there any chance of that .cab working on a Verizon Touch Pro to change the associated file types to IE instead of Opera or is only for Sprint ROMs?

It will work on the Verizon touch pro, it just changes the file associations

I installed Opera 10 beta download. No adjustable zoom support among othe things. I want to keep it for now but I want Opera 9 to once again be my default. Opera 10 somehow became the default upon install.
Can someone tell me where to change these file associations manually in the reg back to Opera 9.
