Dropped My Phone!!!

I dropped my phone pretty hard yesterday. The phone is more durable than I thought because i assumed the screen would be cracked but no. The only problem I have now is my phone almost always stays in Landscape Mode. I have to shake and fumble with it to get it back in to standard mode. G-Sensor is working fine but it still struggles getting back into standard mode. i tried plenty of resets and even a hard reset with no luck. Anyone have a better solution besides taking it back to the store, thanks

Re: Dropped My Phone!!!

install the calibration app for the touch pro, and try recalibrating it.

Re: Dropped My Phone!!!

Also, you could of damaged the KB switch that detects when the KB is open. Yes, the G-Sensor controls some of this but onin specific apps. there is also a hard switch for detcting when the KB is open. If that switch got damaged, then that could be part of the issue you are experience.

Re: Dropped My Phone!!!

i thought that this was the diamond forum for some reason... but yeah, it might be the keyboard. if a hard reset hasn't fixed it, its 99% a hardware problem, so i would talk to your carrier. hopefully its sprint, cause they're more than reasonable.
