Fully Working!!! AUTO DATA DISCONNECT after 60 seconds. SAVE BATTERY LIFE!

--------------------------------------------
DO NOT DO THIS TWEAK... still having an issue.
--------------------------------------------
The following will automatically disconnect DATA connection after 60 seconds. Previous auto disconnect tweaks had issues with receiving calls. This doesn't have the issue.

1. Navigate to HKLM\Comm\CommMgr\Planner\Settings\

2. Delete the following key: "SuspendResume"

3. Add "CacheTime" value of 60 or more (if it didn't already existed)

3. Soft Reset the device

It will Disconnect when idle for 60 seconds. (previous auto disconnect tweaks will NOT allow you to answer while data is on)

Thanks wizkidd04

You CAN answer the phone while DATA is ON for CDMA devices.

1. Navigate to HKLM\Comm\CommMgr\Planner\Settings\

2. Delete the following key: "SuspendResume"

3. Also add "CacheTime" value of 60 (if it didn't already existed)

3. Soft Reset the device

I can now answer calls while DATA is ON. It will Disconnect when idle for 60 seconds.

Thanks wizkidd04
60 is kinda short... I usually look at a web page for more than 60 seconds. Some pages like PPCGeeks take at least 63 seconds to read all the posts.

Advance Config and Diamond Tweak does not fully work for CDMA devices. Test out the problem by turning data on and call your phone. It will ring, but you will not be able to answer.

If you use Advance Config or Diamond Tweak you will be UNABLE TO ANSWER a call while DATA is connected.

I am confused a bit by this. If I am browsing the internet and I get a phone call, it always works for me. The phone call comes through and then when I am done I get right back on the internet....am I missing something here?

This cab does the trick for me perfectly...don't know what it saves in battery life though (if anything).

Shaggylive deserves all the credit for this - he succeeded for me where other .cabs didn't.

There was a tweak that would disconnect the data connection if it was not active for a period of time. This tweak had a problem where if the data connection was active (white arrows instead of gray) and a call came in you could not answer the phone. It happened to me. I have just been leaving the connection open. It doesnt seem to eat the battery up too much. But I do wonder how much battery I would save disconnecting after every email check. Anyone?
