Camera Saving Prefix on SD Card
 

Is there a way to have the Camera save pictures to the SD card using the date and time as the file name instead of default (IMG_001)? I can change to file name when saving to the internal memory, but not when saving to my sd card.

You know... I've been looking all over for this, and i think I've finally found it!

I've been experimenting with a bunch of settings, so if this one doesn't work for you, let me know and I can hook you up with all the reg settings I changed... but honestly, I think it is a single entry.

Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Camera\General

and set:
EnableDCIM = 0

Now you can save to:
Storage Card\My Documents\My Pictures
with the [Date & Time] prefix.
