Bluetooth car phone ~ need some help
Currently I am running the dream 1.2 full rom and it runs like the name.
The only thing keeping me from falling in love with my TP is the Bluetooth software. I really hated my previous phone, I think an oversized gorilla threw some s**t at a Samsung engineers face and then he got the idea to make the upstage. The only thing that phone had going for it was that when I had it linked to my Bluetooth car phone and got an incoming call the phone would announce the name of the person calling through the car speakers by name or number if the contact was not saved. Also that if I was playing music via the Bluetooth and got an incoming call the switch from music to announcing call was nearly flawless and after the call ended, the automatic switch back to Bluetooth was also flawless. So my question is, is it possible to get my TP to announce incoming calls by name? When I first linked up my TP to my car phone, then waited in anticipation for my first incoming call, I was grossly disappointed when all that happened was an uncreative, slightly annoying "beep" announced the call. Can anyone recommend any software to buy or download to save me from this killer annoying beep? |

510jungleboy is correct, you have to use microsoft voice command which is installed on the phone already, and then you have to deactivate your ringtone.

Re: Bluetooth car phone ~ need some help
how do I de-activate my ring tone?
Then if it is de-activated do I have to re-activate every time I switch out of bluetooth mode? |

Quote:
I have never de-activate a ring tone before , because there was no options for it on my previous HTC devices , if i recall. But this setup should help you with your decision to get calls announcement. |
