Anyone know of a better weather app for the TP? One that maybe has radar?

I saw that weather channel makes a pay app for this. Wanted to know if there was a free one.

Interesting idea... With a screen for Doppler radar?

Yeah exactly what I mean. Right now the weather channel has one but you have to pay for it.

It's not an app, but I usually go onto Accuweather for the Doppler maps... It would be nice to be able to cut a few steps out...

Re: Anyone know of a better weather app for the TP? One that maybe has radar?

Weather Panel with one of the custom themes is BY FAR the best program & it's free.

The only problem is, it's a home screen plug-in & won't run as a stand-alone. I have WP running from "second today" & it has radar maps/traffic cams from all over my area/charts of everything you can think of/moon phases etc etc etc etc

I also have the weather channel program, but I hardly ever use it.

It sure is. Jmorton nailed it...WP combined w/ one of the available custom themes is the way to go for weather info. The PhatPhinger icons do take up quite a bit of real estate on your screen, but I got around this by putting it on it's own tab on Mobile Shell.
