Mugen battery cover + 2500mah china-made extended battery = works!
As an experiment, I ordered the battery cover only for the Mugen TP extended battery from ebay (nakedcellphone is the seller) to use with a useless 2500mah extended battery I got from a HK/China seller on ebay.
Although the battery indicator does not work, I can verify that the China-made battery fits PERFECTLY inside the the Mugen battery cover! I cut up a thick business card and folded it in half for a little extra support, but it works perfectly even without it. If any of you want an extended battery fix for a fraction of the cost of the Mugen ($89.99) or if you have a 2500mah battery laying around from a previous ebay purchase, this is worth it.

The bottom half of the phone with the Mugen cover is almost exactly the same size as a TP with the stock battery cover on it. However if you live off your phone outdoors and have heavy data usage, you'll need to make due. The Seidio Ext. battery is not enough for some people to make it through the day.

I love my Mugen battery 3,000mah
 So far it has lasted over 24hours of the very first charge and multiple soft resets...

CDMA users can try switching radio's. I flashed the Telus 1.04.05 and get 2+ days now; used to barely make it through 1 day on the Sprint radio that came with the phone...
