TP will not connect properly to computer

When I first got my TP I installed the drivers and software (Windows Mobile Device Center), and everything ran smoothly. The software recognized my phone, all transfers worked well, and everything. Then when I got my microSDHC, WMDC stopped recognizing the phone, but my computer starting recognizing it as a Removable Disk. I could still transfer files. But recently when I tried transfering from pictures from my computer to my TP, I am having trouble. It will start transfering and then on my phone I would get the error report message for "device.exe", and on my computer the data transfer box would be stuck and not progressing.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Re: TP will not connect properly to computer

In START/SETTINGS/CONNECTIONS/USB to PC/ ,on the phone, make sure "enable advanced network functionality" is unchecked, and that activesync is checked if you are trying to sync.
