Phone disabled. How to enable?
 

I have quite an issue. Twice now my phone turns on for whatever reason and end up receiving a combination of button presses that disable the phone. It says no service and the dial pad can't even come up.

Anyone had this issue and know what to do about it?

I will try flashing the telus radio.
Upgraded to telus radio and that didn't help.
The phone isn't in airplane mode. I can browse online just the phone says no service and a circle with a line through it is in the signal strength area.

I've tried switching to evdo only and 1x only but nothing.



Last time this occurred, a hard reset fixed it.

Please help.

If this is has happened before and a hard reset solved it then I'd opt for another hard reset. You might also try a different rom. If you've exhausted all options (new rom, etc.) and it's still happening then I'd say you have a defective device.

Thanks, i'll probably go the other rom route. Problem is that I love this rom and was hoping that it was some setting that I am missing.

Flashing is a few minutes. Anyone seen this issue? I would hate to loose this rom over something simple.

I had an issue like this before. It will never get resolved.

Pressing and holding the end button disables the radio by default. Perhaps it is being pressed in your pocket unintentionally. Just press and hold the end key again to turn the radio back on. You can also try to change the long end key press function in the settings menu to something else and see if the problem goes away.
