Broken Vibrate

I just got a new touch pro and I'm having issues with the vibrate. I'm really trying to avoid a hard reset, but unless we can come up with something here, I guess thats what we will have to do.

I cannot get my phone to vibrate no matter what. I know the vibrator works because it vibrates whenever i do a soft reset. I have uninstalled nearly every program hoping that there may be a conflict but still cannot come up with anything.

Any suggestions?

Are you running a stock ROM? What programs do you have left on there and any tweaks/hacks you do?

Back up your data (contacts, calender, apps, etc.), and then do a hard reset.

There are plenty of backup options out there (SPB Backup, Sprite, etc.). Run a search on them.

But a good backup application is worth every penny you spend on it. Use it religiously and you'll never fear doing a hard reset again.

Re: Broken Vibrate

I would gladly buy backup software, but is it really any better than PIM backup? [EDIT: Scratch that, I'll do a search :-) ]
Anyway, software on here...

I came from a mogul so I used some of its software.

ASTRO GPS launcher
Null Keyboard
Resco
Skype
TomTom
Customization PPST (whatever that is)
I also had PPC6800 hacks on my storage card and used it to ditch the sent message text and fix the A2DP thing.

I had, but removed(in case they were conflicting with something):
WKTask
QuickMenu

I really like those programs, but it looks like WKTask didnt do anything when I had touch flo active.

I am not sure what the bad compatibility is, but somebody else might.. I wish you good luck though...

Hopefully this works.. If it does not, then it's hardware related and needs to be replaced...

Fixed it. Wonder what the hell it was? Oh well, I guess I'll just stick to the basics for a while. Strange.

As always, thanks for all your help guys.
