Update FIXED!!!!Fuze keyboard is nonresponsive and locks the device

As the title states, something bizzare happened yesterday and everytime i open the physical keyboard it freezes my device andd i have to soft reset. only thing i can do is use the soft keyboard which defeats the purpose of having this device. i must have hard reset a dozen times and i even loaded the stock ROM again thinking i had a corrupt file system. fuunny thing is before and after hard a hard reset and I load the stock ROM and the device starts it to load the customization bloatwares it hhangs on the ozim .cab instal and i am forced to soft reset to get it going. i am baffled. i called at&t and they are mailing me a new Fuze, but in the meantime i would like to to troubleshoot the device and get it working because i have no idea when i will get my new device. i am tempted to load a custom rom but i am convinced its a hardware issue. so any ideas, advice, they are all welcome, and if someone can extract the keyboard driver into a cab maybe i can give that a try. thanks in advance.

UPDATE:
What was happening was i was taking my music straight from itunes library and those folders had song id info and album art that didnt play well my fuze. so becareful out there, somehow the fuze decided it needed to lock up and accessed these files on its own. only happened with certain albums.

Just flashed a custom ROM and still no dice. This is driving me mad.
