viewing email attachments

has anyone figured out how to view email attachments ie, jpgs & pdfs, other than using "save as" ?

I would love if that happened as well. Just click on it and it auto saves it to a temp dir, and opens the damned thing w/ whatever prog is associated.

Hmmm...that's what I do and it opens up. Just tried it with a PDF, Word doc and JPEG...

madly... are you on a custom rom?

im on stock rom and the only way to view images is to "save as" then go and open the file wherever it is.. really a pain when u get tons of attachments.....

Yes, but I'm pretty sure I was able to open them by just tapping on them with the stock ROM...it's been a few months since I was on the stock ROM though, so I could be wrong.

Im on a stock rom and they do open from within the email.

Same here. I can open them on stock ROM. Check your mail settings. Maybe you have it set to not download attachments?

I was thinking that too, but even if doesn't download the attachment, you wouldn't even have the option to save it (Save As is grayed out).

I didn't know...I've always had mine set to download them all.
