Sprint Pro on Alltel
 

Hello all I am new to your forum here. I have done a search and I couldn't find anything so I will ask my question and apologize if it has been asked and answered before.

If I were to by the sprint version of the phone would it work on the alltel network. If the answer is yes, is there a way to flash the phone to get rid of all the sprint addons ( i.e. sprint tv, music store and so on) and could you possibly direct me to a guide if there is one

P.S. In case you are wondering why I want to do this, well there are a couple of reasons: 1.) I live in a divested area and Alltel is still its own entity, not been sold yet 2.) I want to keep on my dad's family share plan (I only pay around $18 a month compared to what I would pay for my own plan) 3.)There are no Alltel Touch Pro phones for sell on ebay

Hello, I don't see an answer to your question yet but I also am wondering the same thing for about the same reason. There are hundreds of sprint TPs on ebay but very few Alltels. If anybody can help us, it would be greatly appreciated, (specially since I have a pending bid on one...lol). I'm a novice cook and can certainly flash the Alltel ROM but not sure if they will accept the Sprint ESN.
