TP Buttons Stopped working

I have a sprint touch pro using mighty rom for a few months now. Everything has been fine, but about a day ago I lost use of all of my built in buttons (volume, home, call...). I have done a hard reset and tried flashing back to other roms, but I it won't reset. I have also tried to flash via sd card, but I can't get to the tri colored screen since my volume button doesn't work, it just does a soft reset.

Any advice? Ultimately I would just reset to stock condition and take it into a sprint store, but I haven't been able to get there and not sure what the repercussions are if i were to bring in an unlocked phone with a different rom.

the romupdateutility puts the phone into bootloader mode for you. Flash the shipped rom and see if it fixes your problem. Download link and instructions here http://www.htc.com/us/SupportDownloa...at=2&dl_id=683

if problem isn't fixed after flashing shipped rom, then i suggest relocking and return

Re: TP Buttons Stopped working

I have been trying that but it times/errors out. It's just strange because I will have a solid connection with active sync, but I lose connection halfway through the update.

I may have got something going now. My connection timed out again, but my phone kept in it's process. It stalled during reboot, but is now installing drivers so my fingers are crossed. I will update.

Re: TP Buttons Stopped working

I was finally able to get back to stock rom and radio. Now just an attempt to relock. Unfortunatly, the buttons are still not working, but happy to get this far.

One note, one of my issues I found, I had an .nbh file in my sd card so it wasn't resetting with what I wanted but rather with the one in the sd card.
