Re: TP Randomly waking up, unlocking itself

maybe someone should create a locker that forces screen off and locking the device until there is a call coming in...
that is the only reason i want my phone on by it self!!

Re: TP Randomly waking up, unlocking itself

My experiences...

I know for certain my TP lights up every NIGHT 11:58 am on the dot. I was not surprise because my Palm Centro always light up 12:09 am on the dot.

My guess is as good as your to why. It just wakes up EXACTLY that time..but goes back to sleep.

Re: TP Randomly waking up, unlocking itself

I've recently noticed my TP doing this as well. No movement, no calls, no emails or any other notifications, and bam it suddenly comes to life.

I don't keep mine locked, but at the same time this has got to be a battery drain on an already under batteried device.....

I'd be interested in seeing a poll of how many others have this problem, or if it us just isolated.

Re: TP Randomly waking up, unlocking itself

WM6 rebuilds the notification que every day around midnight so that may be the cause of wake ups around that time, several HTC devices (mogul...) would wake up when a signal was lost and regained. Wonder if thats causing it on the Pro too.
