Re: Hard Reset

Thing is that most people forget is the phone has to be OFF. Hold down the power button on the top of the phone for a few seconds. Something will pop up about are you sure you want to turn the phone off. Hit yes..

Then do the volume down, center button, soft reset button. That will start the hard reset. It wont work if you dont have the phone off. It will just keep soft resetting.
Clear storage if exactly the same thing though. If you have that you can use that program if you prefer does the same thing.

Re: Hard Reset

If you can't get that to work, you can do a hard reset with the ## codes. IF you have sprint dial ##786# then select reset under the right softkey menu. Enter your msl and thats it. Make sure to record your MSID though because this method will require you to reprogram the phone. If you don't have your msl look here. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=43560

It's the volume down, center button, and power on, not soft reset... but yea, phone has to be off first
