Hard Reset does not work.

hold down power + volume down + center d-pad, and continue holding all three after soft reset, grey restore screen will be first thing you see if it's done right

i have tried that at least 30 times hasnt worked, any other sggestions?

The only way I have seen it work is with the phone off. That seems to be a step everyone over looks due to being able to hard reset devices while turned on in the past. You can also go to settings>system>clear storage, enter 1234 and it will do a form of a hard reset. Ive done it that way once but it didnt fully restore everything to stock.

Ditto here. VZ HTC touch pro; have tried every key combo under the sun and still cant do a successful hard reset... any tips? Has ANYONE got this to work? thanks!
