I hate TF3D, any way to get HTC Home?

TF3D is bulky and wastes space, and it keeps crashing or something and having to reload itself.

Is there any way for me to get HTC Home for my today screen? I tried installing a version of 2.1 for the Hermes and it made the phone freeze on boot, ended up having to hard reset.

Excellent! Got it working, thank you!

On a related note, I notice that the Home and Back hardware buttons don't do anything outside the TF3D interface. Is there any way to reclaim them and assign them new functions?

You can try AEbutton +, but those two buttons don't take real well to remapping unfortunately.

Actually that program just worked wonderfully! Thank you again for all the help, that's exactly what I needed. It didn't have those buttons as a default option, but I was able to add them and it lets me program each one to do up to 4 different things depending on how i press it.

Nice. I use AE but have never actually tried to remap those buttons.

I just remember some posts here stating that even when you remap them, those buttons went right on performing the default function first & then the new function after that.

Did you have any problems like that??

No, I haven't, but now that I have that version of HTC Home working I've completely disabled TF3D, so since their only function was to do things in TF3D, I assume they wouldn't be able to do any of that if they were trying.
