Viewing Video from a Cam

I have a AV Tech DVR, I can view the video online from IE but, I want to be alble to view this from my cell phone.

When I fist view video from the DVR it install an active x control AV Tech streaming Mpeg 4. Is there any program I can use to view my camer off the DVR?

Try installing Orb on the DVR server. IT works with regular webcams...it might just pick up other cams too.

However...if you are looking to view video already recorded...it all depends. At my work we deal with Cyberview DVRs all the time. They record footage in their own proprietary application, and the video it records is viewable only inside their application. If this is the case with yours, you wont be able to watch recorded video, unless your DVR software specifically allows for it.

When you watch it over IE, its probably installing an Active-X equivalent of its own proprietary software, allowing it to run in the browser. This won't work over a PPCbrowser...at least not yet.

hi, i tried viewing my dvr using my PIE but i always get an error. how were you able to play it?
