Airplane mode doesn't "take"
 

I've found that if I have no service, and my phone is looking for service, switching to airplane mode doesn't always work. It takes like 3 or 4 tries before it finally stops looking and goes into airplane mode. If I DO have service, airplane mode works right away.

Does anyone else notice this? Is this specific to my phone?

This has happened to me a few times as well. Different radios and different custom ROM's.

Yep, same thing happens to me as well, even if I have service. I'm running the stock ROM.

Put your TP in Roam only and try again, gotta have the Roam only cab installed

Update on this: After a hard reset the airplane mode takes right away no matter what. Somewhere along the line I either installed something or the phone came with something that was interfering with the airplane toggle.
