How big of a difference?

Is it really NECESSARY to hard reset right after a flash? or just something SOME people do. I've flashed to a couple different ROMs, and have never hard reset right after, but I keep seeing more and more people that say they have.

Thanks.

The half answer to this is yes. I was already re-installing my cabs (as i was too stupid to back everything up less what Pimbackup does), and about halfway through I thought "crap, I hope it wont make a huge difference if I dont "

Just make sure you do it next flash! I'm sure you'll be doing it again soon hehe. I know I flash about once a week.

Re: How big of a difference?

Doesn't installing the new ROM wipe the phone clean anyhow? So even if you don't hard reset after, you still need to reinstall all of your programs, right?

Yes and no, you can install all of your programs and such to your SD card, and then backup all of your settings with something along the lines of spb backup - which will allow you to restore everything.
