EV-DO Rev A Indication

Is there a way to indicate (Taskbar, etc...) when you are recieving Rev A service versus regular EVDO?

None that I am aware of. What is the purpose anyway?

It would mostly out of curiosity. I travel within my region somewhat frequently and it would be nice to know the areas I can count on for the higher speed Rev A network for sprint.

I personally would like to see it say 3G, that is what we have, correct?
Is there a way make it say 3G instead of EV? And what the heck is 1X?
Maybe one of u geeks can put this in laymen's terms for me. tia

Thanks for the response, so if I change the EV icon to a nifty 3G one it would be technically correct?

Sorry for hijacking the post.

Interesting. Are these results user submitted? I can submit my result (in my sig). I'm pretty sure I was using Rev A.
