WinMo dialer vs. HTC dialer

I really like and prefer the Windows Mobile dialer, but it seems to make the Bluetooth icon disappear. So I end up using the stock HTC dialer that comes with the phone.

This is how I got to the WinMo dialer:

'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Security / Phone / Skin'
change the value of 'Enabled' from 1 to 0.
soft reset

Is this the correct way? And does anyone know how to use it without losing the BT icon?

Thanks

your correct, it kills the icon. also kills stereo headset icon on mine. the pluses you get mem. wise are worth loosing the icons.

I use advance config. I just go to phone > Disable Skin. I assume its the same thing, or it might not be. Try doing it this way.

FYI - in my experience, you also lose in-call volume control -- that was the deal breaker for me.
