3G on Tmobile not working for my TP unlocked - Page 2

TMobile in US is using 1700MHZ for 3G, and AT&T, Asia they have 2100MHZ 3G, therefore all the phone that have 3G will not work on TMobile network, unless you get the phone from TMobile.

Yeah, it's really unfortunate to be honest. I do wish things were more consistent...

In a couple years we'll all be using LTE and hopefully carriers will be more interoperable.

No love using either my HTC 8925 or unlocked 7272 Touch Pro on T Mobile with 3G. They work fine with GPRS/Edge but no 3G. They just don't have the 1700mhz bands. T Mobile just released the Dash 3G and I should have one within a week. Anyone know what speeds to expect and does T Mobile have a tethering packadge I can add to my plan. I have the $25 total internet add on.
