Warranty for ebay phone?
 

I was wondering what you guys with ebay phones do for warranty? I was very skeptical on whether or not to buy a phone and activate it on verizon but I think it's pretty much the only way to get a good phone on a good network...

Anyways, I normally go through quite a few replacement phones throughout the year but I obviously won't be able to do that anymore... I was wondering how the mfg warranty for a phone bought off ebay would work? Does anyone have any experience or comments on this?

I know through sprint if you have insurance or tep your good and htc can repair you phones for free but it takes up to 2 weeks to recieve it back

i've purchased two phones off ebay (an apache and a touch) and i didn't have any problems adding insurance to them on Sprint. and when it came time for me to use the insurance i had no problems at all.

I've gotten warranty coverage via both Palm and Asurion with VZW Palm phones purchased off ebay.

hmm.. well in my case I ordered an Alltel phone and am going to put it on Verizon... you're saying verizon will offer insurance for a phone that's not theirs?

Insurance is not specific to the phone. If you have insurance on your account, you are covered as long as the phone you are using is branded to their network.
