how to install a dll

I did the following but I need a little help with #5. I am not sure how to install a .dll file.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

1. First install the
sdkcerts.cab
2. Install Taskbar%20Icons%20v2.cab
3. Install darklord battery metre v2_fixed.cab
4. To have your battery meter give you actual % such as 33% instead of in increments of 10 install nuePowerDriverCDMADiamond-100-v1.0-cab.cab
5. To fix the little font when you click the speaker icon install HTCVolumeControl.dll in the attachment below (Thanks opuscroaks).

Re: how to install a dll

if that fails you find HTCVolumeControl.dll and add .bak to it, copy the HTCVolumeControl.dll soft reset, go back and delete the HTCVolumeControl.dll.bak

Re: how to install a dll

that is expected , you need to use a registry editor(phm reg editor, free posted on the tp essentials uptop)resco explorer...,that is a must have .Are you using one?
