D-Pad Scrolling

Is there anyway to use the d-pad like the scroll wheel on the ipod? For example when your in the contacts program if you run your finger around the d-pad in a clockwise motion it will scroll down and counter clockwise it would scroll up?

Use Diamond Tweak (cab attached) find the option for Touch sensitive Wheel and enable it. Works like a charm.

There is a program out though, that makes scrolling use etc of the capacitative area of the phone: GScroll. Found here: http://www.mobilesrc.com/GScroll.aspx

I tried it out, but didn't like it too much. Too responsive.

Stupid new non techy person question - can the diamond tweaks cab just be put on the memory card and opened from there to work? Thank you.

Yes you can copy the cab to your memory card and install it from there using File Explorer or a similar file program.

The diamond tweaks loaded okay and it seemed to fix a calender problem I was having, but as far as I can tell the scroll function doesn't work no matter what level of sensitivity I put it on.

Try a soft reset if you haven't already, I couldn't get it to scroll until I did.

The settings you want to change are down at the bottom under #19. Change them then soft reset.
